Moments Shaped by Light

I’m drawn to the moments when light quietly transforms what we think we see.

The Blue Hour, when the sky deepens into an almost impossible blue, fascinates me. My photograph of Navy Pier in Chicago captures that moment with very little editing, just a straightened horizon and the city settling into evening.

I’m equally moved by early mornings, when the golden hour crowns the top of the Capitol with soft pink light, a fleeting stillness before the day begins.

I’m also drawn to moments when perspective quietly collapses distance, making what’s far away feel suddenly near.
